The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach: Unveiling a Special Golden Week Celebrating the Bonds Between Japan and Hawaii

The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach (Location: Honolulu, Oahu; General Manager: Mike Kass) has launched a special page to warmly welcome guests from Japan for the 2026 Golden Week and will be rolling out various celebratory programs. Our property completed a full renovation of all guest rooms in June 2025 under the core vision of 'Oahu Reimagined,' which reinterprets the charm of Oahu, and has since continuously engaged in initiatives that celebrate the cultural heritage rooted in Oahu. This event celebrates Constitution Memorial Day by connecting the traditions and bonds of Hawaii and Japan through the traditional Hilo braiding technique. Manoa Falls Private Guided Walk Monday, May 4th (Holiday), 9:00-12:00 Meeting Point: Ewa Tower 1st Floor On Greenery Day, journey to Manoa, Oahu's most beloved valley. Knowledgeable guides will lead guests on a walking tour, explaining Hawaii's endemic plants and flowers, and the history of the area. Lauhala Weaving Koinobori Workshop Tuesday, May 5th (Holiday), 11:00-14:00 Location: Ewa Tower 1st Floor A workshop to create 'Koinobori' (carp streamers), long loved in Japan, using traditional Hawaiian lauhala weaving. Celebrate Children's Day with this unique island arrangement that fuses Japan and Hawaii. ■ Activities This spring, our property launched seven immersive programs called 'Signature Experiences' to rediscover the new charms of Oahu.
