Rising Solo Artist Tsujii Kunue, Performer at SONICMANIA, Releases 2nd EP 'Kisuiiki'! Music Video for Lead Track 'Nande' Also Announced

Tsujii Kunue, a rising solo artist who won the 'Can I Perform at SUMMER SONIC!?' audition held in 2025 and performed at SONICMANIA in August, has released her 2nd EP 'Kisuiiki' (pronounced: kisuiiki) today.

The EP 'Kisuiiki' includes six tracks: previously released digital singles 'Pulse Wave' and '27 Club,' the recently pre-released 'Okane ga Nai Kara' (Because I Have No Money), 'Last Summer Bye-bye,' and 'Last Summer Bye-bye Rework,' which has been reconstructed with a new sound approach. The EP blends diverse genres such as electro, rock, and pop, expressing Tsujii Kunue's unique artistic world.

Additionally, it has been announced that the music video for the lead track 'Nande' (Why) will be released on Friday, July 17 at 21:00.

The song was created based on the feeling that, as we grow older, we have fewer opportunities to ask 'Why?' about things. Its deliberately ambiguous sound design captures the sensation of childhood, when the world was not fully understood. The music video, created in a low-polygon CG animation style to match the song's concept, visually represents the vague memories and feelings of the world as seen in childhood.

Furthermore, it has been announced that her self-produced event 'Sentai' (Sen-itai) will be held on Sunday, August 23 at Ebisu KATA (LIQUIDROOM 2F). The main visual for the event has also been unveiled.

This will be the third edition of the event, following the second performance held in April this year.

Guest acts HUGEN and Plan2+ will be featured, and ticket reservations are currently open.
