YOASOBI will release their 4th EP "THE BOOK for,", which includes the collaboration song "Orion" with the game "Overwatch", on June 26th (Fri). The collaboration with "Overwatch" began on July 1st (Wed).

The song "Orion" was written based on the short story "The Fall of a Sparrow" (English title: The Fall of a Sparrow), which depicts Genji, Hanzo, and Kiriko against the backdrop of "Tokyo," the new setting for "Overwatch." This work portrays the three characters confronting their own feelings while retracing their memories, and a teaser video for the collaboration music video expressing this worldview has been released on YouTube.

In addition to being included in the 4th EP "THE BOOK for,", the song is also featured on a special edition US-exclusive analog record of the EP, which uses a collaboration jacket with "Overwatch."

The in-game collaboration is available for a limited time until July 21st (Tue) JST. Various content incorporating YOASOBI's music, worldview, and visuals will appear in the game. In addition to Hanzo, Genji, and Kiriko, players can enjoy unique special effects exclusive to this collaboration, such as six types of limited collaboration skins inspired by Mizuki, Juno, and Anran, and a dance emote using the song "Orion."

Furthermore, this collaboration depicts the growth and struggles of Kiriko, Genji, and Hanzo, the conflict and separation of brothers, and their destinies intertwining once again, through an integration of music, story, and visuals. We hope you will experience this special collaboration where YOASOBI's song "Orion," spun from the original novel, merges with the world of "Overwatch."
