This is their 5th digital album to reach #1 on the Oricon charts, and the first since "THE BOOK 3" on the December 4, 2023 chart, making it 2 years and 7 months since their last #1.

This work is the fourth installment in YOASOBI's "THE BOOK" series, which they have continued since their formation. With the release of "THE BOOK for,", the series comes to a conclusion, paving the way for new creative endeavors. The title "THE BOOK for,", a play on the series' fourth installment "4 (Four)" and "for", carries the sentiment of "to everyone who receives this work." The comma at the end of the title symbolizes the ongoing story of YOASOBI that continues beyond this point.
