Wyclef Jean Announces 7-Album Project 'Quantum Leap' and Releases New Single 'Mr. October feat. G Herbo'

Grammy Award-winning artist, producer, and songwriter Wyclef Jean has released his new single, "Mr. October feat. G Herbo," featuring G Herbo. The track is the lead single from his upcoming album, "Clef Notes," which will be released via Megaforce and The Orchard.

This track marks a return to the hip-hop roots of a master who has explored diverse genres. Wyclef describes G Herbo as "the voice of this generation," emphasizing the need to promote reform over violence. G Herbo shared that working with Wyclef has "always been a dream."

The upcoming album "Clef Notes" is the first installment of a 7-album project titled "Quantum Leap." Through this project, he plans to encompass the genres he has mastered throughout his career, including hip-hop, jazz, country, reggae, R&B, gospel, and Haitian Compas.

Additionally, 2026 marks the 30th anniversary of the Fugees' seminal work, "The Score," and reunion activities with Ms. Lauryn Hill are ongoing. The duo has performed together at the Grammy Awards, "SNL50: Anniversary Special," and KOKO in London, with an upcoming appearance at "Global Citizen Live" in Rio de Janeiro on June 6.
