This song was primarily conceived around the concept of "romanticizing the past," and it has a very strong narrative. As a songwriter, my biggest commitment is to how much of myself I can put into it. I tried to use nouns from my daily life, such as guitars, hair ties, polaroids, and bunk beds, to allow listeners to imagine episodes of two fictional people whose relationship has broken down. The interplay between these two was also one of the things I emphasized. In the chorus, when the man first asks, "Do you feel the same?", the woman gives an ambiguous answer. It depicts the growing frustration of wanting to go back but being unable to. The past is very fleeting, and the more time passes, the more it fades. Even a past where various emotions were experienced can look beautiful as it fades. You even want to return to a painful past. On the day of my first session with Maya-chan, both the lyrics and the track were completed on the spot. So, I really cherished that intuitive flash and impulse until the very end. For the track, if there was a sound I liked, I used it immediately, and for the lyrics, a common theme between Maya-chan and me came to mind during our conversation, so the theme was decided quickly. I think this clearly reflects the necessity for this generation and age group to create and express music together.
