This project, which follows last year's "MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN SOUND SCRAMBLE supported by Kyoto University of the Arts" held at two live music venues in Kyoto, has been scaled up this year by moving the stage to Shibuya. Under MAJ's concept of "Connecting the world, lighting the future of music," different stages will be set up at duo MUSIC EXCHANGE, Spotify O-WEST, and Spotify O-nest, creating a day where artists transcending generations and genres, and expanding globally, will intersect.

Cup of Joe (MAJ Best Asian Song Award Nominee)

Cup of Joe is a pop/alternative band from Baguio, Philippines. They are characterized by their warm and introspective sound, delivering music that resonates with listeners in each song. They gained attention with their debut EP 『Patutunguhan』, and songs like "Estranghero," "Mananatili," and "Tataya" became popular. Their collaboration song "Tingin" with Janine Teñoso was a hit, and "Multo" achieved the highest position ever for a Filipino song on the Spotify Global chart. It also ranked high on Apple Music Philippines and Billboard Philippines, receiving a great response. These achievements have boosted their international presence, including ranking 182nd on the Spotify Global Top Artists chart.

Hindia

Hindia is a solo project by Indonesian singer-songwriter Baskara Putra. After leading .Feast to national success, he began his activities as Hindia in late 2018. After several releases, in 2019, he released his debut album 『Menari dengan Bayangan』, created during a difficult period in his personal life. The album, which depicted a path forward while reflecting on his past and present, garnered much empathy despite its highly personal lyrics and was selected for numerous "Best of 2019" lists. Later, in 2023, he released the two-part album 『Lagipula Hidup Akan Berakhir』. This work, which depicted his inner self and struggles from a more outward perspective, received strong support, selling out stadium performances and further boosting Hindia's popularity. Natsuko Nisshoku

Born on May 8, 1991, in Hanamaki City, Iwate Prefecture, Natsuko Nisshoku is a piano-playing singer-songwriter. She started playing piano at age 9 and composing at age 12. At 17, she began her full-fledged music career as "Natsuko Nisshoku" based in Morioka. Her meticulously crafted lyrics and songwriting skills, which resonate deeply, have attracted attention, leading to numerous appearances at major festivals. "Anti-Freeze," released in 2021, was selected as an award-winning work at the 14th CD Shop Awards 2022.
