TOAST CLUB, a jazz-fusion band based in London, has released a new song, "Mean Girl." This track serves as an advance single from their upcoming EP, "Lift," scheduled for release on July 24.

Fronted by Tommy Villiers of the UK drum and bass duo piri&tommy, the project elevates his dance music roots into a more adventurous, groove-focused sound. "Mean Girl," a new song that combines solid musicianship with pop sensibility, is an energetic and funky track featuring a stable bassline, driving synths, and a flowing vocal melody. The lyrics depict the relatable theme of a "first date," expressing it as, "So I guess I've stepped into the dating world, too."
