Leeds-Based Dance-Punk 6-Piece Adult DVD to Hold In-Store Events in Tokyo and Osaka Alongside First Japan Tour!

Adult DVD, a six-piece band from Leeds, UK, who announced their signing with the prestigious British independent label Fat Possum this January, is rapidly gaining attention. Known for their overwhelming live performances, they have performed at major festivals such as Glastonbury, End Of The Road, Green Man, and Left Of The Dial last year, while also selling out headline shows across various locations.

While Adult DVD had already announced their first visit to Japan for performances at Osaka JANUS on April 8 (Wed), Tokyo duo MUSIC EXCHANGE on April 10 (Fri), and SYNCHRONICITY FESTIVAL in Tokyo on April 12 (Sun), the anticipation has reached new heights. In response to the growing excitement, the band has now confirmed additional in-store events in both Osaka and Tokyo.

About Adult DVD

A six-piece dance-punk band from Leeds, England. Formed in 2021, the project began with Harry Hanson and Greg Lonsdale writing and sending tracks to each other over the internet.

Often compared to LCD Soundsystem, their musical style incorporates elements that cross genre boundaries, creating tracks that are catchy, humorous, and above all, danceable. They uploaded their first single 'FOMO' to Bandcamp in January 2021, followed by 'Broken English' the next month. After releasing several singles, they debuted their EP 'Fountain of Youth' in 2023.

After performing at Glastonbury Festival in 2025 and signing with Fat Possum Records in 2026, they are now making their first trip to Japan.
