FM Tokyo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kojimachi, Chiyoda-ku; Representative Director, President and Executive Officer: Natsuo Karashima) is pleased to announce that it has decided on organizational changes and personnel transfers as follows, effective April 1, 2026.
1. Purpose of Organizational Change (1) Establishment of a Comprehensive Production System - To establish a comprehensive production system that oversees content and businesses derived from content, the name of the Programming and Production Bureau will be changed to the "General Production Bureau," and a new "Content Production Department" will be established to manage traditional programming and production functions. - The existing "Business Development Department" will be redefined as a support department for producers, and its personnel will be expanded. - The Operations Promotion Department will be renamed the "Operations Management Department" to consolidate the operational management functions of the General Production Bureau (e.g., examination, public relations, numerical management). (2) Strengthening of Group Creative System By deepening collaboration with group company Sounds Next Co., Ltd., the program direction function previously held by our company's production department will be transferred to that company. (3) Reorganization of Sales System The two-department sales system within the Business Solution Bureau will be reorganized, and a new "Sales Department 3" will be established to build a flexible and meticulous sales system. (4) Strengthening of B to C Business Domain Personnel in the Content Business Bureau will be expanded to further increase B to C revenue (events, merchandise sales, digital paid content, etc.) based on program IPs. (5) Establishment of Broadcast Operation Department To strengthen the system for stabilizing broadcast operations and preventing broadcast accidents, an "Operation Center Department" will be established within the Technology Bureau.
