Exceed Inc. (Headquarters: 2-28-7 Ebisu, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Aiko Sawabe), which operates the digital human resource development service "TechHigher" for teenagers, will hold "ROBLOX ARCADE," an event where anyone can intuitively experience original Roblox games created by junior and senior high school students. The event will be held at "Ginten Digital Kids Festival" within the "59th Saga Ginten Yoichi" to be held in the central part of Saga City on August 1, 2026 (Saturday) (Organizer: Digital Study, Cooperation: Exceed Inc.).
This event is the third installment of "ROBLOX ARCADE," following the first in Hakodate in March 2026 and the second during Golden Week at the Digista Kids Festival in Saga in May 2026. This project, previously held as a classroom-organized event, will now be featured as content at a regional summer festival with a 59-year history, opening up children's "ability to create" to the entire town.
1. Third Installment - From "Inside the Classroom" to "Town Festival"
"ROBLOX ARCADE" is an experiential event where visitors can enjoy original games created by junior and senior high school students. Its history is as follows:
First Installment: Hakodate (March 2026) - Received a great response as a unique initiative allowing participants to experience games created by junior and senior high school students in an arcade format, leading to numerous inquiries from educators and companies nationwide.
Second Installment: Saga / Golden Week Digista Kids Festival (May 4, 2026) - Held as the main content of a Digital Study-organized event, utilizing the "Event Hosting Support Package" which allows for low-cost and highly reproducible deployment of the successful model from Hakodate.
Third Installment: Saga / 59th Saga Ginten Yoichi / Ginten Digital Kids Festival (August 1, 2026) ← This Event
The biggest feature of the third installment is the expansion of the event venue from a "classroom-organized event" to a "regional summer festival." "Saga Ginten Yoichi" is a summer tradition in Saga that began in 1966 and is now in its 59th year, cherished as a place where three generations of families gather. This year, the festival is also expanding into the digital realm with new AI-powered events. By featuring games created by children themselves within this historic festival, it adds a new chapter to a festival loved across generations.
2. Mechanism and Educational Value - Even Adults Unfamiliar with Computers Can Play with Their Grandchildren
"ROBLOX ARCADE" has a unique mechanism that goes beyond simple exhibition of works.
"Future Game Center" for Intuitive Enjoyment - A system where visitors can enjoy games using play tickets (voting tickets) obtained from gachapon machines, utilizing the latest gaming PCs. No computer operation skills are required, allowing everyone from small children to grandparents to play intuitively. This experience is well-suited for a summer festival where three generations gather.
