Tesla Announces New Model Y L; Orders Open Today, Deliveries Starting Late April

The world's No. 1 selling mid-size SUV, Model Y, has been further evolved into the 6-seater all-around SUV, Model Y L (Model Why Ell).

Model Y L maintains the fundamental "ease of driving," "practicality," and "safety" of the Model Y, while expanding its usage scenarios. As its name suggests, 'L' stands for Long, achieving a wheelbase of 3,040mm, longer than the Model X. The Model Y L, which can accommodate the needs of three-generation families for outings, travel, or drives with loved ones, is an SUV with the potential to surpass even the convenience of minivans.

Orders are available starting today, April 3rd, via the Tesla app and website. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in late April, before the Golden Week holidays. Except for select stores, the actual vehicle can be viewed at Tesla stores nationwide.
