Equipped with Silk Coating (TM) plates, it guides hair to an ideal, cohesive glossy finish and beautifully creates both straight and curly styles.

Protecting moisture and keeping hair color beautiful

• Equipped with a Silk Coating (TM) plate that allows hair to glide smoothly. By suppressing the evaporation of moisture from the hair, the amount of moisture remaining in the hair is increased by approximately 25% (*1). It reduces the fading of hair color by approximately 66.7% (*2). While protecting the hair's moisture, it keeps the hair color beautiful and maintains the post-styling finish.

  *1: Using our Silk Coating (TM) hair irons NIS500A and NIS500B at a set temperature of 200°C. Measured the moisture content before and after treatment of each coating when stroked for 4 seconds per 30 cm on a bundle of healthy hair, applied 10 consecutive times.

• Displays the plate temperature in real-time (in 5°C increments). You can see at a glance the estimated time to reach the set temperature, which is convenient during busy morning preparations.

• Starts up speedily in about 35 seconds (*) after turning on the power, enabling precise temperature adjustment in 25 steps, in 5°C increments between 80°C and 200°C. You can choose the temperature according to your hair type and damage condition.

With a tong shape that holds firmly like a straight iron and a standard curl diameter of 32mm, you can, of course, create straight hair, as well as thoroughly straighten out bothersome kinks before arranging into curls.

• With a 120mm long barrel, even long hair can be wrapped smoothly, resulting in a beautiful, even finish.

• The barrel with a silicone bar gently fits the hair, ensuring even slippery hair tips don't escape, allowing you to create beautiful curls.
