Terrasky Upgrades MCP-Compatible AI Platform 'mitoco Buddy'

Terrasky Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO & President: Hidesato Sato), will implement a version upgrade for its MCP (Model Context Protocol) compatible AI platform, 'mitoco Buddy,' on Monday, April 6, 2026.

The latest version supports the new connection standard 'MCP Apps.' Previously limited to text data, integration with external tools now allows for the display of dedicated operation screens within the mitoco Buddy chat, enabling input and operations on external tools directly from the chat. This allows users to complete their work within mitoco Buddy without switching to other applications.

Furthermore, it provides features such as a Webhook trigger to execute mitoco Buddy from external systems, a folder monitoring function for Google Drive, and adds integration with tools like Microsoft SharePoint, Tavily, and Slack.

The main upgrade details are as follows:

■ MCP App (UI) Support

By supporting the new connection standard 'MCP Apps,' it is now possible to directly display and operate the 'dedicated operation screen (UI)' of external tools (MCP servers) within the mitoco Buddy chat.

• Improved Visibility

Unlike the conventional text format, it displays graphs and input forms based on external tool data in an optimal format, allowing for an intuitive grasp of the situation.

• Increased Work Efficiency

Button operations and inputs on the chat are directly reflected in the external tool. This eliminates the hassle of switching apps, allowing work to be completed smoothly within the flow of conversation.

Simply by clicking on options (buttons) such as proposed dates displayed in the chat, schedules can be adjusted smoothly.

• Workflow Approval/Denial

From confirming the application content to entering comments with reasons and performing 'Approve' or 'Reject' operations, everything can be completed within the chat screen. There is no need to open another screen.
