WHAT CAFE, an art gallery cafe operated by Warehouse TERRiDA Co., Ltd. (Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, President and Representative Director: Kohei Terada), will hold "WHAT CAFE EXHIBITION vol.45: ON PAPER: Art and Print Market" from Wednesday, April 29, 2026 (holiday) to Wednesday, May 6, 2026.

This exhibition explores the breadth of expression through "paper," one of the most familiar materials for artists and a source of ideas. A wide range of works born from paper will be introduced, including light line drawings, delicate prints, and three-dimensional works using Japanese paper. This is the second time WHAT CAFE will host this event, and it will feature approximately 500 works by a total of 49 artists, in collaboration with 10 domestic galleries that focus on supporting young artists.

In addition to artworks, the venue will also feature artist-produced original goods and publications. Some works will be available for purchase and immediate takeaway. This exhibition combines the elements of a market, making it ideal for first-time art purchases. We invite both art enthusiasts and those who have had limited opportunities to engage with art to enjoy the charm of diverse expressions born from paper.
