Terra Charge Launches First-Time User Campaign Before Weekend Outings!

Terra Charge Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Toru Tokushige; hereinafter "the Company"), which operates the charging service for EVs (electric vehicles) called "Terra Charge," is pleased to announce the launch of the "WELCOME Coupon" campaign to support first-time users.

Background

Towards the realization of carbon neutrality by 2050, the spread of EVs and the expansion of charging infrastructure are accelerating rapidly. The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry has set a goal of installing 300,000 EV chargers by 2030, and there is a demand for the development of convenient charging environments nationwide.

Currently, approximately 68,000 chargers (※1) are installed in Japan, and our company is developing an infrastructure network on a scale that contributes to this. Flexible deployment is possible depending on the installation facility, user needs, or charging scene, and we are working to create an environment where EVs can be charged anywhere, from home to your destination.

This initiative aims to lower the barrier for first-time EV charging users and allow more people to experience the convenience of Terra Charge.
