Terra Charge Launches 6kW Standard EV Chargers at Megane Ichiban's Shintoshin and Nago Stores

Terra Charge Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Tetsuru Tokushige; hereinafter "the Company"), which operates the EV (electric vehicle) charging service "Terra Charge," has launched 6kW standard EV charging services at Megane Ichiban Shintoshin Store and Nago Store, operated by Megane Ichiban Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Okinawa City, Okinawa Prefecture; President: Manabu Miyazato).

■ Background

To achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, the adoption of electric vehicles and the expansion of charging infrastructure are accelerating rapidly. The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) has set a target of installing 300,000 EV charging ports nationwide by 2030, emphasizing the need for convenient and accessible charging environments across Japan.

Currently, approximately 68,000 charging ports (※1) are installed across Japan. Terra Charge operates a significant portion of this infrastructure, offering flexible deployment tailored to facility needs, user demand, and charging scenarios. The company is committed to building a seamless charging environment that allows EV owners to charge their vehicles anytime, anywhere—from home to destinations.
