Terra Charge Launches "6 Months Free Standard EV Charger" Campaign for Residents of Rental Apartments

Terra Charge Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Toru Tokushige; hereinafter "the Company"), which operates the EV (electric vehicle) charging service "Terra Charge," will launch a campaign on Friday, April 24, 2026, offering 6 months of free use of standard EV chargers installed in rental apartments for residents. ## Background Towards achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, the popularization of EVs and the expansion of charging infrastructure are rapidly accelerating. The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) has set a target of installing 300,000 EV chargers by 2030, and there is a nationwide demand for convenient charging environments. Currently, approximately 68,000 charging ports (※1) are installed in Japan, and the Company is expanding its infrastructure network to account for a significant portion of these. Flexible installation is possible according to the needs of facilities and users, or charging scenarios, and we are working to develop an environment where EVs can be charged anywhere, from home to out-of-home destinations. The following cases are not eligible for the campaign: - (1) If rental contracts are canceled or terminated. - (2) If the company determines that fraudulent acts, violations of app terms of use, or other actions contrary to the purpose of operation have occurred. - (3) If the app is canceled before the campaign benefits are awarded.
