Terra Charge Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Toru Tokushige, hereinafter 'the Company'), which operates the EV (Electric Vehicle) charging service 'Terra Charge,' has started service of 10 EV fast chargers with 50kW output across a total of 10 facilities belonging to JA Kuma (Kuma Regional Agricultural Cooperative Association) (Head Office: Nishiki-machi, Kuma-gun, Kumamoto Prefecture, Representative Director and President: Katsunori Fukuda, hereinafter 'JA Kuma'). Background
Towards realizing carbon neutrality by 2050, the adoption of EVs and the expansion of charging infrastructure are rapidly accelerating. With the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry aiming to install 300,000 EV chargers by 2030, there is a demand for the development of highly convenient charging environments nationwide.

Currently, there are approximately 68,000 (*1) chargers installed domestically, and our company is deploying an infrastructure network that plays a part in this scale. We offer flexible installations tailored to the facility, user needs, or charging scenarios, and are working to create an environment where EVs can be charged anywhere, from homes to travel destinations.

In addition to the initial, maintenance, and operation costs of the facilities being free, our service utilizes Japanese hardware to minimize the risk of part shortages, and is fully equipped with a 24/365 call center and payment/management functions. Through this high reliability and generous after-sales maintenance system, we will provide an environment that both operators and users can utilize with peace of mind.
