TeraDox Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Keiji Saito) has launched 'MyHakama 2026', a 3D hakama that can be worn on the metaverse platform 'VRChat', from the 3D Japanese clothing brand 'Kimonowa (キモノワ)' on Friday, March 27, 2026. 'Kimonowa' is a digital Japanese clothing brand launched by TeraDox with the theme of "Japanese Style × Future × Freedom." By expanding the experience of touching the charm of Japanese clothing without being constrained by distance or environment, we propose a new form of culture on VRChat. ■ About 'MyHakama 2026' 'MyHakama 2026' is a 3D hakama series developed for wear within VRChat. Following the 3D Furisode 'MyFurisode 2026' released in December 2025, this product is the next Japanese clothing line. By offering hakama as an option to enjoy in the digital space, following furisode, we will further expand opportunities to experience Japanese clothing culture. It will be developed as an item that can be enjoyed in various scenes such as VRChat interactions, photoshoots, and event participation, not just for special ceremonies. Additionally, the production direction for this project was handled by V Inc. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kota Fujiwara). ■ About the Development of 'MyHakama 2026' 'MyHakama 2026' is a 3D hakama created with the aim of naturally fitting into VRChat while valuing the elegance characteristic of Japanese clothing. It will be developed as a new lineup for Kimonowa, allowing users to enjoy it as a form of self-expression through their avatars. By adding hakama as a new option in addition to furisode, Kimonowa aims to broaden a world where users can choose Japanese clothing according to their mood and the occasion. ■ About the Cherry Blossom Viewing Event To commemorate the release of 'MyHakama 2026', a cherry blossom viewing event will be held within VRChat. This event will provide a space where participants, dressed in hakama and other Japanese attire, can enjoy interaction and photography in a cherry blossom-themed environment. By proposing not only the sale of costumes but also the experience of wearing them and enjoying the unique atmosphere of Japanese clothing, we aim to make Japanese clothing culture more accessible in the digital space. *Some world images in the posted images are under development. ■ Future Developments Kimonowa plans to continue expanding Japanese clothing expressions, including furisode, hakama, and accessories. Furthermore, we will broaden touchpoints for enjoying Japanese clothing culture in both real and digital realms through events and photo experiences linked to seasonal events and communities. To connect the value of Japanese clothing culture to the future, we will continuously develop the project by increasing digital-specific expressions and participation opportunities. ■ Related Links Kimonowa BOOTH Shop: [Link to be inserted]
