Tenpos Busters Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Ota-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Atsushi Morishita), the largest domestic retailer of used kitchen equipment for restaurants, will open its 80th store nationwide, "Tenpos Busters Mishima Store," on April 6, 2026, in Mishima City, Shizuoka Prefecture.

This area, with a business sphere encompassing major tourist destinations such as Izu, the foot of Mt. Fuji, and Atami, is home to approximately 10,000 restaurants [1]. This new store will serve as a hub for business support for restaurant operators in eastern Shizuoka and western Kanagawa Prefectures. With a total area of approximately 715 tsubo spread across four floors, it aims to be a "savior for small and micro-sized restaurants," supporting the local food culture and restaurant management. Three Strengths of the Mishima Store ・A Local Window for Business Support for Restaurants in Izu, the Foot of Mt. Fuji, and Atami In the business sphere of the Mishima store, which includes the entire Izu Peninsula (including Atami, Ito, Mishima, and Numazu), Fuji City, Fuji City, Gotemba City, and Susono City, there are approximately 10,000 restaurants [1] in operation. Many of these are independently owned establishments and accommodations that support the local food scene. By opening in Mishima, a transportation hub, the store is easily accessible not only from the entire Izu Peninsula and the foot of Mt. Fuji but also from the Atami and Yugawara areas. The store offers 26 parking spaces to accommodate customers from a wide area.

・Total Support as a "Savior for Small and Micro-sized Restaurants" The Tenpos Group aims to be more than just a seller of kitchen equipment. Our goal is to be a "savior" for as many small and micro-sized restaurants as possible, helping them secure profits and continue their businesses. The Mishima store will serve as a contact point for various services offered by the group, supporting the resolution of the following management challenges: ・Human Resources Introduction: Addressing labor shortages through recruitment support specialized for the restaurant industry. ・IT/DX Support: Support for the introduction of POS register, cashless payment systems, and waiting systems to promote operational efficiency. ・Real Estate/Interior Design: Introduction of "akiya" (vacant) properties and design/construction of efficient kitchens and interiors. ・Sales Promotion/Customer Acquisition: Proposals for strategies to address unique customer acquisition challenges in tourist areas and inbound demand. ・Cost Optimization: Proposals for cost-effective kitchen designs combining used and new equipment, based on understanding workflow through 3D drawings.

・Large Facility with 4 Floors and a Total Area of 715 Tsubo The four-story store will offer a wide range of products that professionals in the food service industry require, from kitchen equipment and cooking utensils to tableware and store furniture. We aim to be a store where customers can find and purchase everything they need, from opening preparations to renovations.

Purpose of the Store Opening In this area, including Izu and Atami, there is strong demand for restaurant openings and renovations driven by tourism. The Tenpos Group, beyond just providing kitchen equipment, aims to contribute to the sustainable development of restaurants supporting the food scene in tourist destinations by partnering with them on overall management challenges such as customer acquisition support and human resource introduction. Coordination with Existing Stores With the opening of the Mishima store, the support system covering eastern Shizuoka and western Kanagawa Prefectures will be enhanced, in addition to the existing Shizuoka Store (Suruga-ku, Shizuoka City) and Shonan Store (Hiratsuka City). The Mishima store is approximately a 50-minute drive from the Shizuoka store via the Tomei Expressway and about 70 minutes from the Shonan store via Route 1. The business spheres of each store do not overlap, providing local restaurant owners with accessible consultation points. For businesses in the Fuji, Fujinomiya, Atami, and Yugawara areas, the Mishima store will be their closest Tenpos. The Shonan store is also easily accessible from the Hakone area, allowing for the use of both stores depending on the location.
