'How does whisky mature in the land of Aizu?'
Founder Shunsuke Koike embarked on an unprecedented aging experiment in his hometown of Aizu. He carefully selected new make spirit, the unaged base of whisky. Sourced from Scotland, it was filled into 189 barrels of 58 different types gathered from around the world. Thus began the aging experiment in his hometown, Aizu.
Nurtured by the winds of Bandai, it eventually blossomed into a flavor that surpassed all imagination.
The blended whisky 'KAZE Founder's Reserve LEGACY' was released to the world in the early summer of 2025, after about four years.
To be passed down through generations, a unique Solera system was constructed. The winds of Scotland and the winds of Aizu became one, connecting the climates, cultures, and feelings of the two countries, transforming into an irreplaceable drop.
The wind was reborn as KAZE, and it continues to blow.
