Tenda Inc. (Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, Chairman and President CEO: Akira Sonobe; hereinafter "Tenda") has obtained the "Kurumin" next-generation certification mark from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, as a company actively engaged in child-rearing support based on the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising the Next Generation.

Background and Purpose In recent years, companies have been required to develop workplace environments where diverse talent can thrive long-term. In particular, supporting work-life balance for child-rearing is one of the important management challenges underpinning sustainable corporate growth. At Tenda, we have been promoting the creation of an environment where each employee can continue to work with peace of mind according to their life stage.

Initiatives and Achievements in Work-Life Balance Support We are working to realize diverse work styles tailored to different life stages by introducing telework and flexible work systems, and by enhancing child-rearing support programs. In addition to developing systems, we are also focused on fostering a workplace culture where work-life balance is naturally accepted, and on building a continuous support system by supervisors and the organization. As a result of these efforts, the parental leave acquisition rate has reached 100% for women and 35% for men, while maintaining a 100% return-to-work rate, leading to improved effectiveness of the systems and retention of talent.

What is "Kurumin Certification"? "Kurumin Certification" is a system established under the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising the Next Generation, through which the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare certifies companies that are actively engaged in supporting employees' child-rearing. Companies that meet certain criteria are awarded a certification mark (Kurumin Mark), serving as proof that they are actively supporting work-life balance. Certified companies can use the "Kurumin Mark" to demonstrate their proactive commitment to supporting work-life balance.
