TechBiz Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Kazuki Nakajima; hereinafter referred to as "TechBiz"), which operates the matching service for freelancers and companies, including "TECHBIZ," one of Japan's largest IT freelancer agencies, will hold an LT (Lightning Talk) session on the theme of "How to Thrive as a Freelancer?" on Tuesday, June 23rd, starting at 19:30.

Speakers will include Ryoshige Tsuji, a former engineer with a track record of adoption in IPA's "Unconventional Software Creation Project" and experience as a CTO of a listed company and a national public servant, and Kenta Horie, head of the "MARKETINGBIZ" business, TechBiz's specialized agency service for marketing and sales.

These two individuals, who are active in management roles after diverse career paths, will share insights based on their experiences on how to build a career and improve skills to thrive long-term as a freelancer.

Background of the Event

In the course of operating its matching service for freelancers and companies, TechBiz has actively supported the career development of current and aspiring freelancers. Many consultations involve concerns about long-term careers, such as "I'm worried about consistently securing projects" and "I can't envision career advancement as a freelancer."

In response to these voices, "TECHBIZ MEETUP!" is held as a venue to gain hints for thriving as a freelancer, new perspectives, and learning opportunities. By inviting guests active in various fields, we provide participants with an opportunity to reflect on their own careers and gain insights for future career formation.

Both speakers have experienced various positions and tasks and are currently active in management roles. Mr. Ryoshige Tsuji will speak on "How to Draw a Career Where Dots Connect," based on his diverse experiences as an engineer, CTO, and national public servant.

Mr. Kenta Horie, head of the MARKETINGBIZ business, will share hints on how to continue thriving while broadening one's perspective in a rapidly changing era, through his experiences as a web designer, marketer, and business leader.
