At Mori Building DIGITAL ART MUSEUM: Epson teamLab Borderless (hereafter, teamLab Borderless) in Azabudai Hills, Tokyo, <> will be newly unveiled from Wednesday, May 20, 2026. The work begins when the crows from <> enter the space of <>, a world of three-dimensional light sculptures created from a collection of light points that extends infinitely. The crows fly freely, crossing the boundaries of the artwork and influencing other works. When the work ends, the crows depart. Yatagarasu (three-legged crows) drawn with points of light fly through the space, their trails creating light strokes that form "Kusho" (calligraphy in the air). The flock of crows chases the leading crow. The pursued crow scatters into flowers, and the chasing crows eventually become the chased. Borderless World: People move freely with their bodies, form relationships with others, and perceive the world through their bodies. The body has its own time, and thoughts in the mind have ambiguous boundaries with other thoughts, influencing each other and sometimes merging. Art, too, leaves the room, moves on its own, forms relationships with people, and shares the same flow of time as the body. Artworks communicate with, influence, and sometimes merge with other works, having no boundaries. Yatagarasu drawn with light cross the boundaries of other artworks, sometimes influencing them as they fly around freely. teamLab Borderless is a "museum without a map" created by the art collective teamLab's group of borderless artworks. Artworks move out of rooms, form relationships with and are influenced by other works, have no boundaries, and sometimes mix together. teamLab Borderless is a single, continuous world of such artworks. People immerse their entire bodies in this borderless art, wandering, exploring, and discovering within one continuous world without boundaries.
