'OVER THE SUN' × Anthology Project 'Terumi! Your OVER THE SUN' by Popular Manga Artists Launches Serialization in Kodansha's Kiss

TBS Radio and Kodansha Ltd. will launch the manga project 'Terumi! Your OVER THE SUN!'—based on the popular podcast 'Jane Su and Mika Horii's OVER THE SUN' aired on TBS Radio—in the November issue (released September 25) of Kodansha's women's comic magazine 'Kiss.' The series will also begin distribution on Kodansha's manga websites and apps 'Comic DAYS' and 'Palcy.'

This project is an omnibus-style manga initiative born from the worldview of 'OVER THE SUN' and the empathy shared among its listeners. This time, five manga artists who are also listeners (mutual aid members)—Matsuda Naoko, Umimi Tsunami, Kozaki Ai, Nemuyo Youko, and Fujimi Yōko—will join the project, each depicting what 'OVER THE SUN' has delivered to its audience through their unique perspectives in the form of manga.

▽Matsuda Naoko (Matsuda Naoko)

Notable works include 'Banchou Kōshin!' (Shogakukan) and 'Lettuce Burger Please. OK, OK!' (Kawade Shobō Shinsha). 'Banchou Kōshin!'—a realistic portrayal of the publishing industry's behind-the-scenes—was adapted into a 2016 TV drama starring Hana Kuroki and received high acclaim, including the Best Work Award at the 4th Confidence Award Drama Prize.

▽Umimi Tsunami (Umimi Tsunami)

Notable works include 'Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu' (Kodansha) and 'Kurome' (Kodansha). 'Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu,' themed on 'contract marriage,' sparked a social phenomenon. It was adapted into a drama in 2016, achieving over 20% viewership in the finale and becoming a major hit.
