Toray Construction Materials Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Gen Kurita) will launch "REALDE®/STONE type," an exterior wall material that embodies the depth, delicate shifting colors, and overwhelming presence of natural stone, as part of its "Lap Siding" REALDE® series, nationwide in April 2026.

What is Lap Siding?

Toray's lap siding, manufactured and sold since 1984, is an exterior wall material finished by carefully overlapping narrow boards one by one.

・"Overwhelming Straight Lines": Unique processing of left and right joints eliminates the need for sealing or joiners between boards (*), creating seamless straight lines.

・"Dramatic Shadows": The shadows created by overlapping 14mm thick boards give the wall surface a three-dimensional effect.
