Devastated by this sudden betrayal, Shiori visits a bar where her best friend Yuna (Toko Asai) works and breaks down in tears. There, a man approaches her with kindness. The man listens to Shiori's story in silence and stays with her until she feels better. After getting drunk, Shiori finds herself leaning on him for comfort, and the two spend the night together. Some time later, Shiori is suddenly struck by dizziness. At the hospital, she receives the news: she is pregnant. To make matters worse, the company she works for is acquired. The new president who appears before her is none other than the man from that night: Takato Seko (Masahiro Moritsugu). While being tossed about by Takato's fiancée, Reina Asakaze (Azusa Ohara), and his father, Joichi Seko (Satoshi Jinbo), Shiori and Takato begin to navigate their paths as a couple and as parents.
