Early Childhood Financial Education. New Money Learning Content Debuts on 'Tenjin' Tablet for Toddlers!

April 7, 2026 (Tuesday). 'Tenjin,' a tablet educational material for toddlers that transforms homes into preschool classrooms, is launching its first-ever content related to "money" since its release. The two new contents being added are "Let's Touch (Money)" (beginner level) and "Money Exchange" (intermediate level), developed in response to numerous customer requests for "something to learn about money."

Content of Each Program

"Let's Touch (Money)" (Beginner)

This content allows children to recognize the names and appearances of various coins and banknotes. It is designed to naturally absorb knowledge while familiarizing children with common money, from 1-yen coins to 10,000-yen bills. It can be used by children of various ages as an introduction before they have the opportunity to handle real money.

"Money Exchange" (Intermediate)

This content provides a two-way experience of exchanging money: breaking down money, such as "one 50-yen coin into five 10-yen coins," and consolidating money, such as "five 10-yen coins into one 50-yen coin." It avoids complex calculations, allowing children to experience money exchange by operating a machine on the screen. It's designed to be a fun introduction to the concepts of money and numbers through extended play.

First "Money" Content Born from Customer Requests

At 'Tenjin' tablet for toddlers, content development is based on daily requests received from customers. We also conduct co-development projects where parents participate from the planning stage of product development. As a "platform for co-creating future learning" centered on 'Tenjin,' we are committed to supporting early childhood education and childcare at home. Regarding money, we received many requests such as, "I'm happy if there's content to learn about money because my child became interested after shopping together." In response to these voices, we have finally added content related to "money" for the first time. Precisely because the cashless society is advancing today, we focused on a design that allows children to "enjoy familiarizing themselves with money," structuring it into two stages (beginner and intermediate).
