■ In the era of "pets are family," making outings together freer and more comfortable
In our "Survey on the Coexistence of Pets and People" (*1), 64.3% of all respondents, regardless of pet ownership experience, answered that they consider pets to be "family members." Among pet owners, this figure rises to 92.9%, indicating that the perception of pets as family is widely established. Furthermore, while 66.5% of pet owners are positive about going out with their pets, about half (49.1%) have had experiences where they wanted to but couldn't. The most common reason was "concern about bothering others" (46.3%), followed by "it seems difficult to travel" (44.9%), and "transportation/facilities are not accommodating" (38.8%). This reveals that many hurdles still exist for traveling with pets in public spaces.
We believe the issue behind these challenges is not a matter of the owner's awareness or affection, but rather a problem of social infrastructure, where the travel environment and public space design are not yet fully developed. PETiCO, as a brand that creates an environment where pets and people can travel together through its products, confronts this issue head-on. The two products announced this time are the embodiment of this philosophy.
