Announcement of Disaster Drill VR Hands-on Session and Web Briefing

Tanaka Electric Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Ryoichi Tanaka) will hold its annual hands-on session (offline) and web briefing (online) for 'Disaster Drill VR' targeting corporations and organizations.

This event will introduce practical disaster experiences leveraging the immersive power of VR to corporations and organizations engaged in disaster training and safety education.

Furthermore, this year, 'AR Flood Experience' and 'AR Smoke Experience' have been added, allowing participants to experience disaster situations closer to reality.

Recommended for those with the following challenges:

- Interested in VR-based disaster training but unsure what kind of footage can be experienced
- Annual disaster events have become repetitive and looking for new ideas

On the day, we will also introduce case studies and usage methods for Disaster Drill VR.

'Disaster Drill VR' is an educational content that recreates disaster situations such as fires and earthquakes in a virtual space, helping users develop the judgment and action skills needed to respond effectively during actual disasters.
It provides a sense of realism and immersion difficult to achieve with traditional tabletop exercises or evacuation drills, enabling more effective disaster education.
