Talent & Assessment Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Toshiaki Yamazaki; hereinafter referred to as Talent & Assessment), which develops and provides the next-generation interactive AI interview service SHaiN (hereinafter referred to as SHaiN), is pleased to announce that Kyoto University of Advanced Science (Location: Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture; President: Masashi Maeda; hereinafter referred to as Kyoto University of Advanced Science) has adopted "SHaiN for Education + Feedback Report," an educational institution-向け plan for the next-generation interactive AI interview service SHaiN.

Background of SHaiN for Education Adoption

The widespread adoption of generative AI has significantly changed the learning and employment environments surrounding students. As AI interviews are increasingly used in corporate recruitment and internship selection processes, students are required to understand and adapt to these new selection methods.

Kyoto University of Advanced Science positions career education not as a goal of employment, but as the "start of a 100-year lifespan." With the policy that it is important to understand and appropriately utilize technologies used in society rather than restricting AI, the university decided to introduce SHaiN in addition to traditional individual interviews and mock interviews.

The introduction of SHaiN will allow students to gain practical experience with AI interviews, which are becoming more common in corporate recruitment and internship selection. Furthermore, through SHaiN, which is equipped with an original evaluation AI algorithm that does not rely on generative AI, students can objectively reflect on their own thinking and behavioral characteristics, deepen their self-understanding, and cultivate their ability to respond to recruitment processes in the AI era. In addition, by combining this with supportive guidance from career advisors based on SHaiN results, the university aims to deepen self-understanding, improve interview skills, and achieve proactive career formation.

Comment from Kyoto University of Advanced Science Career Development Center

In an era where AI is utilized, we want students to sincerely confront questions such as "What experiences have you accumulated and what values have you cultivated?" and "What do you want to achieve?" and deepen their self-understanding. We decided to introduce SHaiN as part of this support. The competencies such as "proactiveness" and "sensitivity" visualized by SHaiN provide students with an opportunity to objectively grasp their strengths and challenges, and are expected to greatly contribute to their self-growth. In the future, we will promote initiatives to foster behavioral change and proactive career formation among students through its utilization from lower grades.
