Talent and Assessment Co., Ltd. ■ Background of Certification
In February 2019, Talent and Assessment established the autonomous activity team SEaL* with the goal of "creating a company where employees and their families can be safe and healthy," and has been engaged in activities to balance work and health. With the cooperation of the entire company, various training programs and events have been continuously implemented, leading to the seventh consecutive certification.
To date, the company has also renewed its "Silver Certification" as a Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Company by the Tokyo Federation of Health Insurance Societies for seven consecutive years.

The Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organization Certification System is an award system certified by the Nippon Kenko Kaigi, with the aim of creating an environment where organizations that practice particularly excellent health and productivity management can be "visualized" and receive social recognition from employees, job seekers, related companies, and financial institutions. By working to maintain and promote employee health based on management philosophy, it not only revitalizes the organization and improves productivity but also enhances corporate value and offers recruitment advantages as a company "chosen" by excellent talent.

Based on the strategic recruitment method developed by Talent and Assessment, SHaiN is Japan's largest conversational AI interview service, introduced by over 1,000 companies (as of March 2026). By having AI conduct interviews instead of humans, it improves the variability of evaluations that has been an issue in human interviews, achieving unified pass/fail criteria and fair and impartial selection without preconceptions.
Applicants can use smartphones or tablets to conduct interviews with AI 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, anytime, anywhere, reducing opportunity losses such as selection cancellations due to scheduling conflicts. Companies can also use interview evaluation reports as a reference, not only for hiring decisions but also for asking appropriate questions to each candidate during face-to-face interviews and for motivating them according to their characteristics.

The biggest feature of SHaiN is that it is equipped with a unique evaluation AI algorithm developed through joint research with the Yamazaki Laboratory at the University of Tokyo, based on approximately 40,000 interview data, making the evaluation basis explainable.
The EU AI Act, which came into effect in 2024, classifies AI utilization in recruitment as high-risk and mandates "human oversight," "logging and management," and "third-party conformity assessment." SHaiN meets each of these criteria and is a service that complies with the AI Act.
The next-generation SHaiN, to be released in December 2025, will significantly enhance its listening function in interviews and achieve a positive conversational experience by incorporating PKSHA Technology's advanced natural language processing technology and machine learning models. Furthermore, in addition to the conventional 10 aptitude evaluations, it will newly implement multifaceted evaluations as other aptitudes, enabling more precise personality analysis. These other aptitudes include 8 types of competencies, such as "communication skills," "proactiveness," "challenge spirit," "cooperativeness," and "integrity," which were cited as important items in the "Survey on New Graduate Recruitment" by the Japan Business Federation (Keidanren).
SHaiN aims to comprehensively streamline HR operations and improve the experience of job seekers and workers through AI, as one of the roles of "AI Suite for HR" developed by its group company, PKSHA Technology.
