Takuma Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture; President: Kuniaki Hamada) is pleased to announce that it has concluded a partnership agreement with the Hanshin Tigers farm team's home ground, "Zero Carbon Baseball Park" (Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture). Additionally, Takuma Energy Co., Ltd., a group company (Headquarters: Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture; President: Kenichi Nishimura), has concluded an agreement to supply surplus electricity generated at Amagasaki City's waste treatment facility, which was delivered by Takuma, to the park.

■ Overview of Zero Carbon Baseball Park

The Zero Carbon Baseball Park is a facility redeveloped by Amagasaki City and Hanshin Electric Railway Co., Ltd. as a public-private partnership project in Oda Minami Park in the city, which opened in March 2025. The park promotes initiatives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to virtually zero, including the introduction of solar power generation and storage batteries, and the utilization of surplus power from waste-to-energy generation at the Amagasaki City Clean Center No. 2 Plant, a waste treatment facility delivered by Takuma in 2005. It has also been selected as a "Decarbonization Leading Region" by the Ministry of the Environment (※1).

■ About the Partnership Agreement

Our group, founded in Amagasaki in 1938, aims to sustainably grow with our customers and society by solving their challenges through our business. We strive to contribute to regional environmental conservation and decarbonization through our plant construction and after-sales service business and new electric power business in the environmental and energy fields.

The Zero Carbon Baseball Park, with the concept of "A stadium for a perpetually blue sky, from Amagasaki," promotes decarbonization by utilizing electricity generated at the waste treatment facility delivered by Takuma. This partnership agreement aims for our group to endorse the park's philosophy and give back to the local community. Based on this agreement, Takuma's company name sign will be displayed next to the third base bullpen at "Nippon Steel Kogyo SGL Stadium Amagasaki" within the park starting from the 2026 season.

■ About the Power Supply Agreement

Solar power generation and storage batteries have been introduced at the Tigers baseball stadium and indoor practice facility within the Zero Carbon Baseball Park for self-consumption. However, for insufficient power, surplus electricity from the Amagasaki City Clean Center No. 2 Plant is utilized. Takuma Energy has now concluded an agreement to supply this surplus electricity from the Clean Center to the Zero Carbon Baseball Park, with supply commencing in April 2026. Through this power supply, Takuma contributes to the park's decarbonization by supporting local energy production and consumption.
