At the Osaka Takashimaya store, "The Story of Teddy Bear Exhibition" will be held from Wednesday, April 15th to Monday, April 20th. Teddy bears, which have been loved across generations and borders, have a 124-year history since their birth and continue to evolve with new creations even today. This exhibition will introduce the history from the background of their birth to the present day, along with antique works and various collections, structured in a total of 10 chapters. Furthermore, at the concurrently held "Japan Teddy Bear with Friends Convention WEST," one-of-a-kind works by popular Japanese artists, as well as teddy bears created by global brands, will be gathered all in one place. We also have a variety of programs prepared, such as workshops and talk shows inviting guests from overseas, and a special project to appraise works you own. Through works and experiences that can only be encountered here, you can experience the deep charm of teddy bear culture.
