Yokohama Takashimaya will hold [LOVE YOKOHAMA LOVE KANAGAWA] from April 22 (Wed) to 28 (Tue).

During this period, we will introduce products and hold events in collaboration with companies, organizations, and brands in Yokohama and Kanagawa, aiming to convey the charm of Yokohama and Kanagawa to more customers.

This time, we are implementing our first collaboration project with Sakata Seed Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tsuzuki-ku, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture; Representative Director and President: Tsutomu Kagami; hereinafter "Sakata Seed"), a top company in the seed and seedling industry with its headquarters in Yokohama City.

Through limited-time sales of vegetables developed by Sakata Seed, seed sowing workshops, and gardening lectures, we aim to deepen knowledge about "seeds," the origin of the vegetables we eat daily and the flowers we admire. This will make the agricultural and horticultural industry feel more accessible and provide an opportunity to experience the appeal of local Yokohama companies.

〇 Broccoli (Grand Dome)
Broccoli, which was added to "designated vegetables" in April this year for the first time in about 50 years.
It is a standard variety characterized by its large flower head, as its name suggests.
〇 Mini Tomato (Aiko)
A plum-shaped mini tomato variety launched by Sakata Seed in 2004.
It has low acidity and high sugar content, making its sweetness more prominent than typical mini tomatoes.
