Takashimaya Group, guided by its management philosophy "Always, from people.", is promoting ESG management through unique value provision towards realizing a sustainable society where "no one is left behind," as envisioned by the SDGs.

Within this framework, as part of the "TSUNAGU ACTION" sustainability initiative through our group's business activities, we are advancing the "Depart de Loop" project, aiming to realize a circular society by selling, collecting, and regenerating items, and are collecting unwanted items.

Furthermore, we are not only reducing environmental impact but also working to solve social issues. In addition to reducing food loss generated within our company, we are implementing "Food Drive Activities" to collect unused food that cannot be consumed at home and donate it to food banks and local welfare facilities, with the aim of reducing food loss in each household and supporting those who need food.

Additionally, as a new initiative toward realizing a circular economy and a decarbonized society, we have participated in the "Fry to Fly Project" since September 2024, which reuses used cooking oil as aviation fuel. We collect used cooking oil discharged from restaurants and kitchens in our group's food floors and are promoting its recycling into Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).

The collection results for each activity in the 2025 fiscal year are as follows:

## 2025 Fiscal Year "Depart de Loop" Collection Volume

In the 2025 fiscal year, "Depart de Loop" conducted collection campaigns at each Takashimaya store in April and October as new initiatives. By consolidating the collection of apparel (including denim, cashmere, business suits), cosmetics, and down comforters in one place, we aimed to improve project recognition and collection convenience. Furthermore, by offering "Shopping Vouchers" usable at each Takashimaya store (including some specialty stores) based on the number of items collected, the collection volume significantly increased.

In October of the same year, we expanded collection points beyond store fronts for the first time, initiating the collection of similar eligible items through online shopping and catalog mail order sales channels. This broadened customer participation opportunities and led to further promotion and expansion of collection activities.

Through these efforts, the collection volume for the 2025 fiscal year reached approximately 53,000 kg, a 142% increase compared to the previous year, bringing the cumulative total to approximately 100,000 kg. The collected items are proposed to customers as new, reborn, attractive products by utilizing the recycling systems of our partner companies.

Furthermore, in addition to collections through our group's "Depart de Loop" project, we are broadening our activities, such as holding apparel collection campaigns in conjunction with our business partners to encourage participation from more customers. (2025 Fiscal Year Collection Volume: Approx. 18,000 kg)

## 2025 Fiscal Year "Food Drive Activities" Collection Volume

*Data is aggregated including specialty stores since the latter half of FY2024.

In "Food Drive Activities," the collection volume for the 2025 fiscal year reached 3,601 kg, with a cumulative donation volume of 8,487 kg. Particularly in the latter half of FY2025, the collection volume significantly increased to 2,427 kg with the addition of the commercial facilities operated by Tōshin Kaihatsu, such as Tamagawa Takashimaya S.C., Ryūgashōden no Mori S.C., and Kashiwa Takashimaya Station Mall.

In addition to the Yokohama store, where collection has been conducted year-round, awareness has also increased at the Omiya and Kyoto stores, where permanent collection began last year, leading to an increasing trend in collection volume. Furthermore, to expand employee participation at each store, we are strengthening outreach within employee cafeterias and deepening collaboration with nearby companies and local social welfare councils, thereby continuously expanding our initiatives.

## 2025 Fiscal Year "Used Cooking Oil" Collection Volume

*Collection figures include contributions from employee cafeterias within group companies and four retail restaurant stores (e.g., Din Tai Fung Ikebukuro Higashiguchi S store), although these are not included in the number of collecting stores.

Since the summer of last year, we have held customer-participatory "Used Cooking Oil Collection Events" at Kyoto Takashimaya S.C., Takashimaya Yokohama Store, and Ryūgashōden no Mori S.C., thereby increasing customer awareness of these initiatives.

Going forward, our group will continue to promote sustainable initiatives that reduce environmental impact and effectively utilize resources, in order to realize a sustainable society where all people can live abundantly.
