Takara Shuzo Co., Ltd.'s 100% sweet potato shochu 'Ikkomon (Ikkomon)' and 'Ikkomon <Barrel Aged>' have won the Double Gold award at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC: San Francisco World Spirits Competition) 2026, an international spirits competition held in the United States.

This year, Takara Shuzo achieved award-winning results for a total of six items in its 100% sweet potato shochu lineup.

Judging involves rigorous blind tastings conducted by spirits experts in each category, resulting in Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards. The 'Double Gold' title is granted only when all judges unanimously agree that a spirit deserves a Gold medal.
