Takara Shuzo to Release Renewed "Gokujyo Takara Highball" on April 7 (Tuesday)

Takara Shuzo Co., Ltd. will renew the name and package design of "Tanchu," the carbonated drink of "Gokujyo <Takara Shochu>," to "Gokujyo Takara Highball" and release it nationwide on Tuesday, April 7.

"Gokujyo Takara Highball" is a canned shochu (Type Ko) carbonated drink made with "Gokujyo <Takara Shochu>" and strong carbonation in the best balance.

The carbonated drink of "Gokujyo <Takara Shochu>" has been gaining popularity, especially in restaurants in Tokyo. The "Tanchu," sold since 2022, has been well-received by customers for its "refreshing, non-sweet taste that pairs well with meals and can be easily enjoyed at home."

To more clearly appeal to the product's characteristic of being a non-sweet, simple carbonated drink made only with premium shochu and carbonation, the name and package design are being renewed without changing the popular taste.
