Takano Co., Ltd. Breaking the conventional notion that "BtoB manufacturers are solid and plain," we have visualized our diverse business divisions as "adventure companions (characters)." We are developing experiential content, such as a "Career Character Diagnosis" that identifies suitable careers based on one's personality, allowing students to enjoy discovering "a field that suits them."

Challenge from zero recognition: Using "We don't know what kind of company it is" as a weapon

Since its founding in 1941, our company has evolved from spring manufacturing into a development-oriented company with top-class shares in niche and diverse fields such as "office chairs," "semiconductor inspection equipment," "exteriors," "medical and healthcare," and "agriculture." However, due to our BtoB-centric business development, our national recognition is low, and many students have expressed, "The business content is complex, and I don't know which department suits me."

Therefore, this time, we took advantage of this "diversity of business" and transformed the site into a world that can be enjoyed like choosing a job (profession) in an RPG. We define our venture spirit, which has pioneered unknown territories, as "ADVENTURE" and deliver an exciting company research experience to students facing the "walls" of job hunting.

Our nine divisions have been designed as characters embodying their respective missions and specialized skills. All these characters were newly drawn by our in-house illustrator (Manomushi.). These are reliable companions who will overcome the "walls of work" together.

For students who are unsure which department suits them, we have implemented a diagnostic content that guides them to a compatible character based on their personality and aspirations. In just 30 seconds, they can identify their "Role" as if answering questions in an RPG. The diagnostic results can be shared on X (formerly Twitter) and LINE.

"Development Background" of the Release

In building this site, we actively utilized generative AI not only in the design but also in the implementation process. Even as a manufacturing company with over 80 years of history, we flexibly incorporate the latest technology and challenge uncharted territories. This stance (venture spirit) of our company is embodied in the site production process itself. A long-established manufacturer, 84 years old, wrote code with AI. The creation of the recruitment site was also an "adventure."
