Takamatsu Construction Co., Ltd. (Head office: Osaka, Japan; Representative Director and President: Takatoshi Takamatsu; hereinafter referred to as "the Company") will sponsor the "5th Smile Challenge Walk 2026 in Tokyo," organized by the Smile Walking Club (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Mariko Takagi; hereinafter referred to as "Smile Walking Club"), to be held on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Odaiba Symbol Promenade Park.

The "Smile Challenge Walk" is an event where people with and without disabilities walk the same course together, aiming for the goal. By walking together and sharing the same objective, natural interactions are born, and opportunities to deepen mutual understanding are created.

On the day of the event, two courses will be available: a 5.0km course that allows participants to enjoy the charm of Odaiba, and a largely flat 2.5km course that even wheelchair users and small children can safely participate in. In addition, there will be various fun activities such as a Smile Ennichi where participants can try "strikeout" and physical fitness tests, and booth exhibitions, providing numerous opportunities for interaction among participants.

On the event stage, TV personality Cain Kamyu will host, with Asami Kumakiri appearing as a guest host. The stage will feature performances by violinist and influencer eru, and inclusion idol group IRIS Angel, as well as a wheelchair user dialogue, a dog fashion show, and a disaster preparedness quiz, offering diverse content enjoyable for both children and adults.
