Takahashi Shoten, known for planners and books, refreshes corporate logo ~Let's be a shining publisher~ Aiming for globalization of planner/book business and new business development

Takahashi Shoten Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yoshinari Shimizu), which publishes diaries, practical life guides, children's books, and more, will refresh its corporate logo on July 1, 2026 (Wed.) with a view to globalizing its diary and book business and expanding its business operations.

Takahashi Shoten was founded in 1939 as Kowa-do, a book distributor. In 1952, it began producing and selling diaries, and in 1954, it was established as a publisher, Takahashi Shoten Co., Ltd. Subsequently, in 1960, it published study guides for public service and employment exams, and in 1964, it began full-scale publication of general books such as practical life guides and children's books. In 2004, it established its diary business with the catchphrase "Tesho wa Takahashi" (Planners are Takahashi), and in its book division, it continues to expand its business across a wide range of genres including cookbooks, language books, and certification guides.

Moving forward, we have refreshed our corporate logo to express our strong will to take on the globalization of our planner and book business and new business development, leveraging Takahashi Shoten's over 70 years of tradition.

Our aspiration for the new logo ~Let's be a shining publisher~

This new logo evolves the previous symbol mark, which evoked planners and writing, by combining horizontal and vertical ruled lines to represent the initial "T" of "TAKAHASHI." It expresses our challenging spirit while leveraging over 70 years of tradition, and our identity as a unique publisher whose main products are "planners," where each individual writes their own entries, and "books," which support customers' lives.

We have redefined our corporate vision of aiming for new value creation with each employee enjoying "Let's try it," as "Let's be a shining publisher," and our "Code of Conduct" of continuing to listen to customer feedback and deliver good products, embodying these in our new logo.
