Independently developed ultra-fine bubble generation mechanism supports improved washing performance

●Equipped with Takagi's proprietary ultra-fine bubble generation mechanism "BUBBLE GEN"

This product uses Takagi's independently developed ultra-fine bubble generation mechanism, "BUBBLE GEN."

BUBBLE GEN generates 4.68 million ultra-fine bubbles/ml.

●What are Ultra-Fine Bubbles?

Ultra-fine bubbles are invisible, extremely small bubbles with a diameter of less than 1 micrometer, and are expected to have the following effects:

*Image illustration

【Surfactant Action】

Ultra-fine bubbles are said to have a negatively charged surface, making them easily attracted to dirt such as oil and positively charged substances. Furthermore, due to their microscopic size, they can easily penetrate the gaps between dirt and surfaces. It is thought that the "attraction" and "repulsion" between the bubbles and dirt help to lift and disperse the dirt.

【Impact Action】

Impact action is "microbubble action." When bubbles burst due to external forces (such as ultrasound), shock waves are generated, and their energy is said to make it easier to peel off adhered dirt. These properties are expected to support cleaning.

*Explanations are based on materials from the Fine Bubble Industries Association and were created by Takagi.

*"Fine Bubble," "Ultra-Fine Bubble," and "FINE BUBBLE" are registered trademarks of the Fine Bubble Industries Association.

Product Features

●Stubborn dirt is thoroughly removed with the power of bubbles. Dirt removal rate increases by an average of 13.1%*2

The ultra-fine bubbles, less than 1μm in size, deliver detergent components deep into the fibers to remove dirt.

When compared to a standard water supply hose, the bubble water supply hose showed approximately 13.1%*2 higher cleaning efficiency.

*1 Result of calculating the difference in bubble count per 1ml between the raw water before passing through the bubble water supply hose and the water discharged after passing through it. Difference in quantity between discharged water after passing through and raw water before passing through: 4.68 million bubbles/ml. Measuring instrument: NanoSight NS300. Supply water: Ion-exchanged water (water conforming to FBIA's ultra-pure water definition, water temperature: 21.6-22.3°C, flow rate: 12.0 L/min. Ultra-fine bubble measurement results (average of n=5): Discharged water after passing through [Quantity: average approx. 8.86 million bubbles/ml], [Bubble size: average diameter approx. 0.10μm, modal diameter approx. 0.09μm]. Raw water before passing through [Quantity: average approx. 4.18 million bubbles/ml] [Bubble size: average diameter approx. 0.11μm, modal diameter approx. 0.11μm]. (Measured by a third-party organization on March 3, 2026) *Values may vary depending on water quality, environment, and time.

*2 Result of cleaning tests conducted using the method and conditions below, where the degree of remaining dirt on dried stained cloth was quantified by image analysis and compared. (Results may vary depending on cleaning environment and usage conditions.) [Water Used]: Commercially available water server bottle water. [Test Water]: Two types of water collected: water collected by the bubble water supply hose and water collected by a standard water supply hose (a commercially available washing hose from another company) (both hoses are 1m in length, 13mm inner diameter). [Test Samples]: 10 sheets of wet artificial stained cloth conforming to JIS C 9606 were used for each test water. [Washing Conditions]: 10 stained cloths and 0.5ml of detergent were added to 2L of test water and washed in a mini washing machine (5 minutes wash → 5 minutes rinse → spin dry → dry). [Test Environment]: Conducted in an indoor laboratory, with water temperature adjusted to 20±3°C. [Evaluation Method]: Dried test cloths were scanned, and the color change on the cloth surface was quantified using image analysis software to compare cleaning rates. The cleaning rate was calculated for each sheet using the formula: "(Color Density Index Before Cleaning - Color Density Index After Cleaning) ÷ Color Density Index Before Cleaning × 100," based on the change in color density index before and after cleaning of the wet artificial stained cloth. The average of 10 cleaning rates obtained was used as the cleaning rate for each test. (Color Density Index: An index indicating the color density of the surface of the measured object, calculated using Kubelka-Munk's formula "K/S = (1-R)2/2R" where K is the light absorption coefficient, S is the light scattering coefficient, and R is the surface reflectance). Using this cleaning rate, the difference "Cleaning Rate of Bubble Water Supply Hose - Cleaning Rate of Standard Water Supply Hose" was calculated, resulting in approximately 13.1%. (Investigated by Takagi in March 2026).

*3 This is an image illustration reproducing the internal verification described in *2 above. The standard water supply hose used for comparison is the same product, but the verification conditions differ. (Investigated by Takagi in March 2026).

*4 This is an image illustration of cleaning tests conducted using the method and conditions below. (Results may vary depending on cleaning environment and usage conditions.)

[Water Used]: Tap water. [Test Water]: Two types of water collected: water collected by the bubble water supply hose and water collected by a commercially available washing hose from another company (both hoses are 1m in length, 13mm inner diameter). [Test Samples]: 4 commercially available hand towels (100% cotton) were used for each test water. [Washing Conditions]: 4 test sample towels were placed in a fully automatic washing machine, and washed with 10g of powder detergent and 10ml of fabric softener (7 minutes wash → 2 rinses → 10 minutes spin dry → dry). [Test Environment]: Conducted in a washing machine placed in an indoor environment. [Evaluation Content]: Towels were stacked and photographed to compare their fluffiness. (Investigated by Takagi in March 2026).
