Taiyo Co., Ltd. Announces Implementation of AI-Equipped Autonomous Cleaning Robot 'PUDU MT1'

Taiyo Co., Ltd., a waste management and recycling company in Hiroshima, has introduced the 'PUDU MT1', an AI-equipped autonomous cleaning robot by Pudu Robotics, to automate floor cleaning at its recycling facility. In conjunction with a new recycling line starting in April 2026, the robot will operate 24 hours a day to collect dust and debris, featuring an AI capability to distinguish waste and a capacity of up to 35 liters. The implementation aims to significantly improve hygiene levels while reducing the physical workload on facility staff.
