In the project conducted by Taito Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) to search for Japan's first domestically produced crane game machine*, "Crown 602", the number of information pieces received via the web and social media exceeded 4,400. We report the final results of our search, which we reached with the passionate feelings entrusted to us by everyone. *It is said that multiple types of domestically produced crane game machines were released in 1965. ・The Trajectory of the Project: A Search Guided by Over 4,400 "Voices"

This project called for information from the general public to find old crane game cabinets that were disappearing from records. Immediately after its launch, we received a continuous stream of "pages of life" etched onto a single machine, such as "When I was a child, I begged my parents and won a prize for the first time" and "I saw it installed on the rooftop of a department store that no longer exists.". The vast number of over 4,400 posts were not just a collection of information, but proof that amusement culture is deeply rooted in people's hearts. ・Search Results: No Exact Match Found, but a "Successor" Connecting Hope Was Discovered

We carefully reviewed each piece of information received from everyone, but unfortunately, we were unable to identify the "Crown 602". However, a miracle was born from this project. In the course of our search, we were able to identify the whereabouts of the successor machine, "Crown 603", which strongly inherits the DNA of the machine we were looking for, the "Crown 602". We are filled with surprise and gratitude. The "memories" entrusted to us by everyone have become our greatest asset. Although we could not find the exact item we were searching for, we were able to arrive at the new hope of a successor machine thanks to everyone's enthusiasm. Thank you very much. Crown 603

・Current Status of Discovery: The "Crown 603" cabinet itself still exists, but due to the passage of many years, it is currently unknown if it is operational.

・Significance: The lineage of the phantom machine "Crown 602", for which there was no clue, has been reconnected to the present day through the pieces of memory from everyone, marking a valuable step in filling the blank in amusement history.

・Regarding Benefits for Information Providers Although we unfortunately did not find the actual "Crown 602", we received many heartwarming episodes from all over the country regarding "Crane Game Memories" which we also solicited. Therefore, we will conduct a strict lottery among those who submitted entries, and three winners will receive our latest game software or an invitation ticket usable at our operated facilities. The winners will be announced via notification to their registered email addresses.

・Future of "Crown 603" As it is currently unknown whether it can be operated, our Technical Support Division (TAITO TECH) is working on it, leveraging their many years of experience with amusement equipment.
