Taica Renews Partnership Agreement with CHUO SOCCER GROUP to Support Chuo University Soccer Club

Taica Corporation (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Hiroto Suzuki) has renewed its partnership agreement with the general incorporated association CHUO SOCCER GROUP, which supports the Chuo University Soccer Club, effective April 1, 2026. The "αGEL by Taica" logo, which our company also features on the uniforms of RCD Mallorca, a team belonging to Spain's La Liga (First Division), will be displayed on the club's uniforms. The Chuo University Soccer Club achieved excellent results in the 2024 academic year, ranking 4th in the Kanto University League Division 1 and participating in the Intercollegiate tournament, and in the 2025 academic year, reaching the top 8 in the Prime Minister's Cup. They aim for victory in the Kanto University League Division 1 in the 2026 academic year. Regarding career paths after graduation, 5 graduates in the 2024 academic year and 4 in the 2025 academic year decided to join the J.League, producing many professional players. Furthermore, former graduate player Tsuyoshi Watanabe continues to be selected for the Japan national team, making it a noteworthy university soccer club. Our company believes it is important to support young generations who balance both academics and club activities, and we will continue to support the dreams and challenges of students by renewing this sponsorship agreement. The Chuo University Soccer Club was founded in 1927 (Showa 2) and has since become a traditional and historic soccer club that has produced many players who have been active in the Olympics, Japan national team, and J.League. After being promoted to the Kanto University Soccer League Division 1 in 1950, it has achieved a strong track record, including 2 Emperor's Cup victories, 8 All Japan University Soccer Championship victories, and 5 Kanto University Soccer League Division 1 championships. Notable alumni players include Kyogo Furuhashi and Daniel Schmidt of the Japan national team, and former Japan national team member Kengo Nakamura.
