Disaster Preparedness Workshop for Elementary Students: Complete Your Summer Science Project!

TAG Inc. (Headquarters: Nerima-ku, Tokyo; Representatives: Yukoh Kitao / Noriyuki Shimada), operator of the disaster-preparedness media for mothers 'Itumosimo,' will host an offline event titled 'Create, Learn, and Complete Your Summer Science Project! Disaster Preparedness Workshop' to support elementary students' summer science projects.

"It would be ideal if children could enjoy themselves while learning."

"We want to complete this with minimal time and cost."

"We don’t want it to end with just an experience—we want them to properly write a report."

In response to such common parental concerns about summer science projects, we have designed a fun and educational disaster-preparedness workshop.

Items created and worksheets completed during the workshop can be submitted directly as science projects.

Did you know that paracord, popular as a fashion accessory, can also be used as a disaster preparedness tool?

After learning how to use it in emergencies, participants will create a practical bottle holder suitable for everyday use.

[Experiment] Deep Dive into Emergency Toilets! The Mystery of Coagulants and How Portable Toilets Work

We will welcome a special guest lecturer—the 'Expert on Disaster Toilets'—for a quiz-style workshop that makes learning about emergency toilets fun and engaging.

The event includes hands-on experiments and assembly of portable toilets, offering plenty of opportunities to 'see,' 'touch,' and 'experience'!

A household goods manufacturer that provides disaster toilet supplies and cleaning tools in one stop. The company is actively promoting disaster preparedness awareness, including signing an agreement with Wakayama Prefecture on 'Procurement of Supplies During Disasters.'
