A dynamic, up-and-coming orchestra formed by a new generation of talented young musicians active both in Japan and abroad. The orchestra specializes in concerto performances where members take on soloist roles, and actively explores innovative programming, including chamber music and solo recital series. They also participate in various events and orchestral appreciation workshops.

Graduated from the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts (oboe major). Studied in Munich from 1981 under Günter Passin. Served as Principal Oboist of the Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra from 1986, then as Principal Oboist of the NHK Symphony Orchestra for 30 years starting in 1990. Began conducting in 1996, gaining nationwide recognition through educational concerts explaining orchestral instruments and Beethoven’s symphonies. Served as classical music supervisor for Tomoko Ninomiya’s 'Nodame Cantabile' and has led the nationwide tour of 'Live Nodame Cantabile Concert,' which he conceived and conducts. Retired from NHK Symphony in March 2019 and now works full-time as a conductor, having led orchestras such as Sendai Philharmonic, Ensemble Kanazawa, Tokyo Philharmonic, Kyoto City Symphony, Hyogo PAC, and Kyushu Symphony Orchestra.
Studied conducting under the late Hiroshi Iwaki, the late Yuzo Toyama, and Junichi Hirokami.

Member of Niigakukai.
[Kimiharu Sugaya]
Active primarily in German Lieder, sacred music, and oratorios. Graduated from the Vocal Music Department at Tokyo University of the Arts, receiving the Acanthus Music Award and Doseikai Award upon graduation. Completed graduate studies at Toho Gakuen School of Music and the Vocal Department of the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe in Germany. Has performed as a soloist in numerous concerts, including J.S. Bach’s 'St. Matthew' and 'St. John Passions,' 'Magnificat,' Handel’s 'Messiah,' Beethoven’s 'Ninth Symphony,' Mozart’s 'Requiem,' Haydn’s 'The Creation,' Brahms’ 'German Requiem,' and Verdi’s 'Requiem.' Also appeared in operas such as 'The Marriage of Figaro,' 'La Bohème,' 'Carmen,' 'Orpheus in the Underworld,' 'Madama Butterfly,' and 'Turandot.'
