And depending on how we listen, our mood, or who we’re with, each experience becomes completely different. Together with esteemed musicians Yukio Yokoyama and Yasunaishi Ishida, the Tacticart Orchestra members who have walked this path with me, and naco, who adds color to the concert, I hope to deliver a deeply moving experience.

Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7, the main piece, holds special memories as it was the final piece I performed when I won first prize at the Bucharest Competition. I’m delighted to present it to you once again.

Yukio Yokoyama (Piano)

In keeping with the spirit of the New Year, I will perform an improvisational piece based on Bach-Gounod’s 'Ave Maria,' a work filled with prayer, along with the gentle Debussy’s 'Arabesque No. 1,' and Grieg’s 'Piano Concerto,' which I’ll be playing in Tokyo for the first time in a while. I look forward to celebrating the beginning of a new year with all of you, sharing the charm of these beloved classics.

Yasunaishi Ishida (Concertmaster)

This is my first time participating as concertmaster with Tacticart Orchestra. Unbeknownst to me, I’ve now been part of orchestras for over 30 years. I hope to pass on some of the experience I’ve gained over these three decades to this young orchestra. I’m also very much looking forward to collaborating for the first time with the young maestro, Riku Okamoto.
