We will convey the appeal of being a diplomat from both perspectives of the two main routes to becoming a diplomat: the "National Comprehensive Service" and the "Ministry of Foreign Affairs Specialist." We will provide an easy-to-understand explanation of the world of diplomacy, the appeal of the job, and careers after joining the ministry!

We look forward to the participation of those interested in diplomacy, those who want to use their language skills in their work, and everyone else. A Q&A session will be held after the seminar.

Lecturer in Charge

Lecturer Ken Yokoo

Passed the diplomat examination (equivalent to the current National Comprehensive Service) and joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In Japan, he was involved in international economics, science and technology, global environment, and public diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He also has experience in related work at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, and local governments. Abroad, he served in Europe, the Americas, Africa, and other regions.

Currently at TAC, he is in charge of measures for government office visits for the National Comprehensive Service, policy research, essay preparation, and interview preparation for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs experienced personnel recruitment examination, and interview preparation and foreign language test preparation for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Specialist examination.
